The 3Gs…

At Genesis, everything we do revolves around the 3Gs:  Get It!  Grow It!  Give It!  We believe these three links provide us with the best chance to “become bold people living a new way in Christ.”  We invite you to explore what these core commitments mean and find out how life changing and life giving they are when you practice them along with other Christ followers at Genesis. 

GET IT!

Our 3Gs start with Getting a Bold Connection with God at one or more of our worship gatherings.  Our desire is that worshipers will connect with God through the presence and power of His Spirit.  Through our time of singing, prayers and creative elements we expect people to receive a newness of life with Christ.  The experience continues as we engage a Bold Idea from Scripture that is both life changing and life giving. 

GROW IT!

At Genesis, we are intentional about connecting with our family and friends for the purpose of growing our relationship with God.  Through the Network, we reach out to one another in formal and informal ways of sharing our life with Christ.  It’s a chance to expand our vision of God and what He can do through and in our life.  The Network includes linking up through emails, calls, meals, groups and studies.

GIVE IT!

“…Living a Bold Way in Christ” means changing your priorities so others can experience a connection with God.  It’s having a “Buzz Ministry” and participating with one another in our “Buzz Ministries” so others will see in visible and tangible ways what a life in Christ is about at Genesis.  It also means playing your part in the “Bridge Events” we host to “reach new people in bold ways for Christ.”  We give away our Bold Connection through our financial support and by finding our personal and collective voice to share with others about our life in and for Christ.  When you share through “word of mouth,” you increase the “buzz factor” for God at Genesis.  When you serve, you build a bridge with one another for others to cross over into a life with Christ.
